Hi, I'm Katie. I'm a barista by trade, though I spend much of my free time writing music and tinkering with computers. This website documents my various experiments and thoughts about software, music, games, and whatever else catches my interest in any given week.
I tend to write most of my projects in C99 or Go, and if you dig around this site for more than ten seconds, you'll likely notice that I'm very passionate about Forth.
For software music composition, I bounce around between REAPER, Ableton Live, and FL Studio. I own a Korg MS2000 and a Minilogue which compliment eachother excellently, as well as a variety of miscellaneous pedals and modules which I've accrued over the years.
- lace – live audio coding experiment
- m4th – Forth dialect for text preprocessing
- udprelay – minimal UDP packet relay
I have yet to formally release anything, but I upload short renders of many of my projects-in-progress at renders.katie.host. These are mainly incomplete snippets of projects which I don't necessarily intend to finish.
